I’m selling tickets on craigslist – how do I do a safe transaction (online payment and sending ticket)?

I bought tickets for So You Think You Can Dance Canada in Toronto but I can’t make the show anymore. I live in Montreal and I want to sell them. How is the best way to ensure that both parties are certain they will get what they want. Is there a way for them to pay us online and they release the money when they get the tickets?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Mgmt Tickets – Mgmt Unveils Sophomore Album Early After Online Leak

MGMT’s hotly anticipated sophomore album, Congratulations, wasn’t supposed to arrive until April 12 across the pond in the U.K. and April 13 here in the U.S., but the effort leaked online in late March. As a result of the online leak, the Brooklyn-based band put a stream of Congratulations on its official website. In the immediate aftermath of the leak, MGMT wanted to release the follow-up to 2007′s Oracular Spectacular as a free download, but eventually decided against it. “Hey everybody, the album leaked, and we wanted you to be able to hear it from us. We wanted to offer it as a free download but that didn’t make sense to anyone but us,” read a statement on MGMT’s official website.

While artists conventionally release a lead single prior to releasing an album and continue to release sporadic singles once the album arrives, MGMT has hailed Congratulations a “no singles” album. According to NPR.com, MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser are encouraging radio stations and fans to simply play the songs they like best off their sophomore album. Says NPR.com of the unconventional move, “It’s a bold idea and a counterintuitive one, considering the band rose to fame on the popularity of ‘Kids’ and ‘Time To Pretend’ from their debut, Oracular Spectacular.” There are nine tracks for fans and radio stations to choose from, however, most of which were inspired by surf rock, according to VanWyngarden.

Just days before MGMT’s sophomore set leaked, the duo previewed songs off their sophomore album at London’s Heaven. The March 18 gig came one day after the death of Big Star legend Alex Chilton, reported NME.com. Chilton died of a suspected heart attack on March 17 and is survived by his wife, Laura; son, Timothy and sister, Cecilia. Before performing new song “It’s Working,” VanWyngarden told the audience, “We’d like to dedicate this set to Alex Chilton.”

Other new tracks showcased at the gig included the 12-minute long song “Siberian Breaks,” which VanWyngarden described as “an epic folk song,” as well as “Brian Eno,” “Song For Dan Treacy” and “Flash Delirium.” MGMT’s set list also included old favorites like “Pieces of What,” “Weekend Wars,” “Oracular Spectacular” and “Kids.”

VanWyngarden and Goldwasser met while they were both art students at Wesleyan University in Connecticut in 2002. The duo first went under the moniker Management but eventually changed their name to MGMT and issued the electro-rock EP Time to Pretend in 2005 via the indie label Cantora Records. Released after the pair graduated from college, the EP (and specifically its title track) was instantly lauded by critics and acclaimed producer Steve Lillywhite approached MGMT to sign a contract with Columbia Records.

MGMT’s standout debut album, Oracular Spectacular, arrived online in late 2007, followed by a traditional album release in January 2008. The duo quickly scored a gig opening for Of Montreal on tour and spots at Coachella and other music festivals followed. Lady Gaga Tickets – Lady Gaga Adds Lollapalooza Show to Monster’s Ball Tour

Lollapalooza festival organizers announced the 2010 lineup on April 6, revealing that Lady Gaga will perform at weeklong Chicago event while on her Monster’s Ball Tour. No stranger to controversy, Lady Gaga is encountering a media storm over her latest single, “Alejandro.” Monsters and Critics reports that Gaga’s label wanted “Dance in the Dark” to be her next single, but she chose “Alejandro” instead. According to a report by Gig Wise, Sir Elton John wants to follow in Beyonce’s footsteps by recording a duet with Lady Gaga in the future. The pair performed a duet at the Grammy Awards back in February, and Sir Elton is quoted as telling People Magazine that he is “really pleased” that Lady Gaga is being considered to record the theme song for the next James Bond film and hopes they can record a duet in the future. Lady Gaga Tickets ? Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour Gets an Extension

The 2010 North American Monster Ball Tour doesn’t get underway until June 28, opening in Montreal, but Lady Gaga already has plans to extend her sold-out road trip into 2011. Billboard.com reports that on May 10, tour promoter Live Nation announced that Lady Gaga will return to the road in 2011 with a string of arena dates beginning in February 2011. So far, Lady Gaga has 10 arena dates lined up for next year, starting with a Feb. 19 gig in Atlantic City, N.J. and running through April 18. Additional dates for the trek, which will also feature 2010 tour opener Semi Precious Weapons, are expected to be announced in the future.

Lady Gaga’s 2009-10 North American tour was also called the Monster Ball, but back in February Gaga told KIIS-FM’s Ryan Seacrest that her upcoming tour will feature beefed up production to accommodate larger venues. “It’s still called Monster Ball, but it’s more of a musical and less of a concert. It has a New York theme, it’s a story, and the story is that me and my friends are in New York and we’re going to the Monster Ball, and we get lost,” Gaga told Seacrest. According to the Los Angeles Times, Lady Gaga’s “little monsters” are in outrage with American Idol over Gaga’s edited performance of her new single “Alejandro.” Rather than broadcast Lady Gaga’s entire six-and-a-half minutes performance, which transitioned into “Bad Romance,” the hit Fox reality show edited parts of the performance to reportedly tone things down for primetime viewers, prompting petitioners to ask, “Would you take a $250,000 painting, cut it in pieces, and put it together to better fit your wall?” Lady Gaga also disapproved of the editing, tweeting, “FOX POORLY + AMATEURLY edited + cut my performance/musical arrangement on Idol.”

Ucla Basketball Tickets – Is A Sleeping Giant Awakening?

UCLA basketball tickets have long been special for many, many reasons. When you think of sports dynasties, you think of Lombardi’s Packers, Auerbach’s Celtics, the Yankees of several eras and the Montreal Canadiens. Wooden’s Bruins can stand up to every one of them and then some. Listing all of the legendary players of UCLA lore would be too numerous for this forum, but rest assured that an entire wing of the Hall of Fame could be filled with UCLA alumni.

However, in recent decades, the Bruins, compared to the almost unattainable standard history had set, was not achieving at their historic levels. They did break through for an NCAA title in 1995, but other than that, Westwood’s trophy case has not had any recent additions in recent times.

That could all be changing right before our eyes, as the 2007 Bruins are beginning to look like the great Bruin teams of old. They advanced all the way to the NCAA Final last year before losing a tough game to Florida, and so far this season, it looks as though they haven’t missed a beat. There are reasons for this resurgence, and we’ll examine a couple of them below.

Ben Howland

When Howland took over at UCLA in 2003, the Bruins had officially fallen on hard times. They had become one of those teams that always seemed to recruit well, but they were at best a hit-or-miss bubble team for the NCAA Tournament. UCLA basketball tickets were actually quite easy to find for most games, and the Bruin faithful were down in the dumps.

Howland came aboard and instilled several things that the program had been missing. The first element was discipline. Howland’s teams never give a game away, and that was a hallmark of his teams at Pittsburgh before he came to Westwood. He also put together a roster that actually played hard-nosed defense, which was not something UCLA had been known for in recent years. There were even whispers that UCLA was “soft,” and that was unacceptable for everyone involved with the program.

The Right Kind of Talent

Under Howland, the program stopped simply chasing all the five-star recruits it could gather and began to build a team that together would become a unit that covered all the moving parts a successful squad needs. They added scoring and athleticism, of course, but they also added defense, rebounding, guards that could dribble and distribute, and several role players who take care of all the “little” things that win games in the end but may not show up on the stat sheet.

What it All Means

What this all means is that with the talent, consistency and stability that once again exists at UCLA, the team will be able to sell its own tradition and history to recruits, and it’s beginning to look like every year should be one when UCLA should contend for the Final Four. The fans in Westwood wouldn’t expect anything less, and UCLA basketball tickets are once again nearly impossible to find.

The season 2000- 01 brought them face to face with New Jersey Devils. The sixth game at Raleigh despite their loss was closed by a standing ovation by the audience for the Hurricanes. The 05-06 season was the biggest surprise for the Hurricane fans. The Canes scored a record 52-22-8 and 112 points. They broke the earlier Whalers franchisee record. The Canes lost the first two games to Habs in the 2006 Stanley Cup Playoffs. However they managed to win two games at Montreal and finished the series with a 2-1 victory. Cory Stillman made the winning goal. This was followed by the Hurricanes playing against New Jersey in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Chicago Blackhawks Tickets – Watch the Blackhawks Play Like True Warriors

For the fans, Chicago Blackhawks tickets are priceless. Many fans were disappointed in the 2006-2007 season, when their team finished last place in the Central Division. Chicago Blackhawks are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). Since 1994, United Center in Chicago has been home to the Blackhawks.

Chicago Blackhawks joined the NHL in 1926 when it expanded from seven to ten teams. It was originally based in Portland, Oregon. But after it was bought by Major Frederic McLaughlin, the team moved to Chicago. Major McLaughlin gave the team its present name, Chicago Blackhawks, which is based on the name of the 33rd Machine Gun Battalion of the United States Army- the Blackhawk Division. The Division was commanded by Major McLaughlin in during World War I.

The Blackhawks were a very popular and powerful team in the 1930s. Fans would stand for hours to get their hands on Chicago Blackhawks tickets. Their performance in their very first season was nothing to brag about. In 1931, the team managed to pull themselves out of the muck and reach the Stanley Cup finals. However, they were defeated by the Montreal Canadiens.

However, this cannot be said about the 2006-2007 season. However, GM Dale Tallon is working hard to turn things around. Tallon has brought in Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Sergei Samsonov, Yanic Perreault and Andrei Zyuzin to energize the team.
