Which hotel should 4 college students stay at in Montreal?

I’m planning a 3 night trip to Montreal with 3 of my friends from college. We’re pretty much going to party for a few days. What is the best location for us to stay, and what is the best hotel for us in that location? We would like to spend around $200 a night ($50 per person). Thanks for your help!
I’m going August 5th-August 8th and I’m driving there from New York.
