International Fireworks Arts Symposium In Puerto Vallarta

Year 2009 brings the International Fireworks Arts Symposium to Puerto Vallarta. This will be the 11th International Fireworks Art Symposium and will be held from April 20th to 24th. The Sports Stadium will be holding the nighttime displays and the daylight displays will be held in the Sheraton Hotel. Internationally famous manufacturers amused many locals and foreigners last year as well, and this year again Puerto Vallarta will be lit up with a variety of colors.

The festival took birth in Montreal, founded by CERL, Canadian Explosives Research Laboratory. Having celebrated 10 anniversaries, CERL has become popular worldwide and is a much awaited event. A week dedicated to the latest and the most unique fireworks is a chance for locals and foreigners to plan a vacation and enjoy the spectacular fusion of colors & lights. This will be a great opportunity to interact with manufacturers and showmen of famous fireworks. This International gathering of the pyrotechnic industry is an attempt to bring together the diverse firework industries of the world. Thus this week becomes a productive meeting point for many to learn and share from each others’ experiences and cultures. This entertaining affair not only displays the works of many, in fact it attempts to create grounds for discussions. These series of events provide a chance to present and discuss all the manufacturers’ subjects related to scientific and regulatory aspects of the products. It offers a great platform to focus and confer on issues related to product’s safety and engineering as well. On Sunday, 20th April a welcome show will be presented by the traditional family of fireworks. Presented by Zagal Famosos, a traditional Castillo, an Aerial display will be launched at the Art Symposium of 2009 in Puerto Vallarta.

Monday morning begins with an Aerial Display and 8 traditional “Castillo de Morilla.” A Castillo is a historic kind of firework produced in Mexico. Locals are familiar with this traditional display of fireworks and vacationers should definitely not miss this chance. The next firework display will be presented by Ramsa Pirotecnia. The last show of the day will exhibit pyromusical and Castillo together. This 18 minute show will exhibit a Castillo double tower high along with candles, mines, comets and bombettes. All this together will create a spectacular site that will be a pleasure to watch. ‘PVRPV.COM’ is a renowned company that assists the tourists in renting condos, private and luxury villas on or near the beach.

Tuesday will begin with a display hosted by Pirotecnicos de Tultepec. This show will include a daylight Castillo at the beach of the Sheraton, and 3 Castillo’s combined with a pyromusical in the Sports Stadium. On Wednesday, fireworks will be displayed by Pirotecnia Mexicana Artesanal, S.A. de C.V. This Pyromusical Tower display will be a 45 min show, which will execute 3 Castillo towers. Along with this, the show will also exhibit various portraits that will represent the Mexican tradition of fireworks.

On Thursday, the company Pirotecnia Espectacular Adán will display Castillo Pyromusical. The name of the show is “Mexico to the World” and this show will have a pyromusical show fused with 5 Castillos. Modern technology combined with the traditional Castillos will put on a spectacular show. The second show will be displayed by Unión de Pirotécnicos de San Mateo Tlalchichilpan, who aim to display in their traditional aerial show some complicated pieces this year.

Friday will be the closing day that will begin with aerial plus traditional displays presented by Unión Estatal Poblana de la Pirotecnia Yotécatl, A.C. This company will exhibit an outstanding show designed by the new generation, called “Puebla History and Culture.” This show endeavors to show a blend of new and traditional experiences earned through the passage of years. The last show will be hosted by Fuegos Artificiales Ramos García, Fuegos Artificiales OSRAMS, Fuegos Artificiales Oración, César Ramos Delgado and Fuegos Artificiales Monarca. This will exhibit aerial products in a pyromusical show combined with a variety of candles and special effects making the spectacle more beautiful.
